Civic Pride is a group of concerned taxpayers in the Daytona Beach - Halifax Area whose goal is to promote economic, educational and cultural ideas and to address issues of community interest in a fact based manner.

Civic Pride believes that the Daytona Beach - Halifax Area should:

• Attract more manufacturing and technology jobs
   
• Encourage tourism and recognize the significant contribution tourism makes to employment, tax revenue and capital investment
   
• Develop a broader local technology base that attracts new businesses and encourages our best and brightest young people to stay here
   
• Promote and foster professionally managed festivals and events in an environment of respect for residents and participants
